Popular nutrition personalization app will include PBH's proprietary content in its healthy eating tips that reach more than a million shoppers.
YottaMark Inc. today announced that it has entered a partnership with Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) to bring new produce-centric rich content into its popular ShopWell food nutrition app. The app, which already has almost 2 million registered users, provides personalized nutrition advice and product recommendations by scanning a UPC barcode from a product label. ShopWell’s patented algorithms calculate food scores based on the user’s age, gender and dietary goals, such as lowering blood pressure, as well as dietary preferences and food allergies – and can recommend healthier ‘trade ups’.
The app also sends nutrition advice personalized to the user’s dietary goals, and will now benefit from the rich, proprietary content created by PBH.
